Our services include conducting pre-underwriting and periodic claims reviews, advising on the sufficiency of reserves, tracking aggregate impairment and confirming aggregate exhaustion, monitoring of excess claims, issuing coverage opinions, and drafting and reviewing risk management, quality assurance, and claims handling policy and procedure protocols. We have also developed complex claim database programs to assist our clients in the tracking and monitoring of routine claims, as well as complex mass tort litigation.

Thomas Anderson is a Partner in the Hartford Office of Morrison Mahoney LLP. Since joining the firm, his practice has focused on the defense of medical malpractice, professional liability, and other complex insurance defense litigation. Before joining Morrison Mahoney, Mr. Anderson was a Partner at Danaher, Lagnese & Neal, P.C.

Mr. Anderson has represented numerous physicians, nurses, and other professionals in malpractice actions throughout the State of Connecticut. He has extensive trial experience in the defense of professional liability actions, including successfully trying wrongful death, medical,and other professional liablity cases to verdict throughout the State of Connecticut. He also counsels clients regarding various risk management issues.

Mr. Anderson is admitted to practice in Connecticut (1988) and in Massachusetts (1985). He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut (1988). Mr. Anderson is Board Certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board Of Trial Advocacy and has earned Martindale and Hubbell's highest rating of "AV" by his peers.

Mr. Anderson has also been a frequent lecturer on various litigation, trial practice, and malpractice topics, including "Taking Your First Deposition," "The Basics of Civil Trial Practice in Connecticut," "Nursing Home Malpractice," "Federal Medicare's Super Lien," "CMIC's New Physician's Practice-Legal Perspective," and "Shoulder Dystocia Litigation."

Mr. Anderson is a graduate of the University of Vermont (B.A. in 1981) and the University of Tulsa College of Law (J.D. in 1984).
