Lincoln Woodard represents plaintiffs in personal injury, medical and professional malpractice actions in both state and federal court. He is a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. In 2009, 2010 and again in 2011, he has been listed in the Connecticut Magazine Super Lawyers publication, www.superlawyers.com. He was also listed as one of Hartford's top plaintiffs' personal injury lawyers in Hartford Magazine in 2010.
Mr. Woodard was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1992 and the New York Bar in 1993. He is also admitted to practice in the Federal District Court of Connecticut. From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Woodard gained invaluable trial experience as a prosecutor in Dutchess County, New York, spending the last two years in the domestic violence and sex crimes division. He returned to Connecticut in 1997 and has practiced exclusively in civil litigation since that time.
Mr. Woodard is an active member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. He currently serves on the Association's Board of Governors. He is co-chair of CTLA's Public Relations Task Force and serves on the Membership Committee. He is also a member of the Hartford County Bar Association, the New London County Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the American Association of Justice.
Mr. Woodard received his law degree in 1992 from Western New England School of Law where he graduated with honors and served on the editorial board of the school's Law Review. He received a bachelor's degree in business and economics in 1987 from Syracuse University.
